A Mothers Love
Tony, I miss so many things already.I loved your contagious laugh. Your grin with those dimples completed me. You were a protector and a fighter.
I've seen you fight for Chase. You changed and sacrificed so many things to be able to be around him. You endured like a parent does to protect what's yours.
You always protected the people that were most important in your life. Like your brother Terry. You fought like brothers do growing up, but you would NOT allow anyone else to hurt Terry. I remember when you were only 5 years old and I was watching you play outside. You were franticly looking for something and then found a stick. I said "what are you doing Tony?" You said, "I gotta go mom", as he started to run, "someone is picking on my brother." That was my Tony.
You stood your ground son and fought a good fight.
My proudest moments were watching you with Chase Anthony. You nurtured him and were a good father figure to him. Last week you said to me with all the passion in your voice "Mom, I love that boy more than anyone in this world."
Your tough guy image could be easily melted by just one word, Daddy. I remember you telling me how proud you were when you would go out to places and Chase would walk up to complete strangers and say "that's my dad". So as proud as you were of him Tony, Chase is just as proud of you.
You will live forever through him.
